Account Manager – August 2010

ACCOUNT MANAGER STUFF: this critical role reports directly to the Managing Director and covers the scope of the entire business. You’ll be used to working with clients at a strategic level and operational level. You’ll have the full backing and support of the entire agency to satisfy the needs of our lovely clients. You should be able to exhibit real achievement in the following areas:

  • Creating communications that deliver results
  • Creating and managing the marketing programmes – including marketing planning & strategy, market messaging and programme creation and execution
  • Extensive online experience with websites and email campaigns
  • Client liaison, relationship building and reporting
  • Managing work through the creative development process
  • Controlling costs and maximising agency income
  • Reporting into & giving Managing Director full visibility of accounts

International client base with plenty of very famous names on client list. Bias towards BtB at the moment but growing into plenty of other areas. Fully integrated from strategy, brand development and research through communications planning, media, advertising, DM, online, collateral, etc. This position is absolutely critical for the growth of our business. Come in and make it happen & you’ll be well rewarded with real job career progression.

ABOUT YOU: positive, confident, experienced, ambitious, thoughtful, inspiring, pragmatic, tenacious, compelling, possibly slightly unhinged yet still curiously reassuring (Ha! Got to meet a person who can meet all of those!) Brand literate and with a strong marketing and online understanding, you’ll need to be a most persuasive salesperson and an excellent project manager. Your experience may be varied and may take in DM, Design, Online Media or maybe Advertising. You’re looking for an environment which will encourage and reward you to deliver your best. This could be your second job role or you may want to switch from the clientside.
