NRG International (a Ricoh company) is the international distributor of digital office solutions from Nashuatec, Rex Rotary and Gestetner. These market-leading brands provide enterprise-wide networked office solutions enabling NRGI to provide its global network of distributors with the latest document management systems.


NRG International wanted to revitalize their relationships with their distributor partners and had developed an exciting new Premier Partner Programme designed to offer new levels of collaboration and support. The challenge for Open Sky was to powerfully convey the benefits of the new programme in ten languages to a widely distributed distributor network.

We needed a strong and engaging multi-lingual launch platform that would encourage distributors across the globe to sign up to the scheme.

Creative rationale:

We chose a team-based mountaineering theme for the launch pack and collaterals to convey an aspirational, winning message of high level professional support, based around mutual cooperation, trust, openness, innovation and knowledge sharing. The programme was launched online and via teaser ‘postcards from the top’ designed to drive our audience to the programme microsite. These were followed up with a physical DM pack containing quick reference cards and video presentations on a memory stick. The launch finale was an international distributor event to encourage peer-to-peer endorsement and networking.
